Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi addressed an election rally in Bijapur, Karnataka, Fiercely attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She said that Modiji has a passion for Congress-free India, he has got a ghost of him.

I was very happy when his speeches caused hunger for millions of hungry people in the country but the speech could never fill the empty stomach. They need food.”

Sonia Gandhi alleged that the Central Government Compensated all the states affected by drought but Karnataka was given the lowest compensation. It is like rubbing salt on farmers’ wounds. Sonia asked, “Modi, is this your development, everyone’s development?”

Modi said that because of drought, the farmers of Karnataka have been beaten up. CM Siddaramaiah of the state wanted to meet the PM on this issue but he refused. Sonia said that By doing so, PM Modi has not only insulted the farmers but also Karnataka. He said that the Congress government has worked continuously for the poor.

She said, we started the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA program for the poor, which Modi used to criticize. She said that standing in a time of crisis together and working together have been a culture of Karnataka. Sonia said Congress party has done a lot of work the period of Congress. Because of this, Karnataka could become number one state in the country. She said that the Modi government discriminated against the state.
